VPD 2024 – Our company is thriving

At VPD, traditions matter, and during this festive season, it’s only fitting to look back at the past year. In 2024, we reached new milestones, reaffirming that we are a company experiencing continuous growth and evolution.

Customer satisfaction

What could be more valuable than the satisfaction of our customers? Probably not much! Thanks to our ongoing efforts, we’ve once again improved our NPS score. After achieving an impressive 80 in 2023, this year we reached an incredible score of 82!

These results are also reflected on our Google page, where we have an average rating of 4.5 stars, with over 1,500 customer reviews submitted to date. This number grows daily, and we’re delighted to read so many positive comments. Even critical feedback helps us improve, ensuring we meet your expectations even better next time.

The specialist in large appliances

VPD is now recognised as the go-to specialist for the delivery and installation of large household appliances. Renowned companies like MediaMarkt and Whirlpool have trusted us for years, and this year, Electrolux and ATAG joined them. Every day, we deliver no fewer than 700 appliances, including dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, and dryers. Our teams also perform approximately 250 installations daily, whether for freestanding or built-in appliances.

Constantly delivering – Even on Sundays!

Our expertise doesn’t stop there. We also deliver furniture, bicycles, and large pallets for many clients. For the past few months, we’ve even been offering these services on Sundays! What started as a test quickly became a huge success, and we plan to expand this offering further in the future.

Sustainability and green initiatives

Sustainability remains at the core of our priorities. Currently, 40% of our deliveries are made using electric vehicles, and we aim to double this figure by 2025 with our continually renewed fleet. This year, we also introduced electric trucks, including the innovative Volta model – the first of its kind in Belgium, and it’s VPD leading the way!

We also earned the prestigious “Lean and Green Europe” label, recognising our efforts to reduce CO2 emissions by 27% by the end of 2025. Additionally, we are actively involved in the VIAVIA project, supported by the Flemish government and the University of Antwerp, to make urban deliveries entirely emission-free as quickly as possible.

Continuous growth

Our rapid growth also brought practical challenges: we were running out of space! To address this, we renovated and expanded our headquarters, doubling the office space. Our employees now benefit from new meeting rooms, a spacious cafeteria for shared lunches, and a brand-new sports and relaxation area.
